About the teacher
Shine Tuition is led by Zeshaan Akhtar, a qualified UK KS2 teacher with over 5 years of classroom experience, specialising in Year 5 and Year 6.Zeshaan has taught Maths, Reading and Writing across a wide range of abilities and understands why many children lose confidence — not because they can’t do the work, but because they’ve never had it explained in a way that truly makes sense to them.His teaching style is calm, structured and confidence-led, helping children feel safe to make mistakes, ask questions and improve step by step.Parents value the clear communication, regular progress updates and the noticeable change in their child’s self-belief as well as their academic ability.This programme focuses on long-term understanding, not shortcuts — building the skills and confidence children need for SATs and beyond.
